Friday Fresh Tunes : "Wule Bang Bang" by Magasco

My Friday Fresh Tune is coming straight from my Mother's land : Cameroon!
I've discovered Magasco recently with that same tune listening to French program about Afro-Caribbean music "Couleurs Tropicales" broadcast on RFI (Radio France International), host by French Caribbean Claudy Siar. I highly recommend that show to all those interested in African and Caribbean music, vintage or contemporary. They also talk about History and news.

So. Magasco. He's from Cameroon, his latest track is called "Wule Bang Bang" which means in this case, "She is shining". This single is from forthcoming EP : "Raw Gold" (release : December, 25th).

Living far from my family and Afropean crew, makes me listen and enjoy even more African music, I love to play it loud in my Caribbean home and learn to my daughter how to shake according to her Cameroonian roots.
You can be sure, we'll be "djoka" on this one!

Friday Fresh Tune : "Comme On Rêve" - LS Featuring Priscillia

So, I'm late again for my Friday Fresh Tune. But, you know it doesn't matter (although I'll keep on doing my best to be on time next week).
This week, I'm bringing some afro-caribbean- groove to your ears. My musical partner in crime, LS (aka the producer behind my music) is releasing a brand new single with singer Priscillia : "Comme On Rêve" ("How We Dream").
It's sweet, it's warm, it sounds like cinnamon and honey.

Friday Fresh Tunes : Olatunji - Oh Yay - "2016 Afrosoca" (Trinidad)

Winter is around the corner; so is Carnival(s). OK. I might be a bit early but I can't help as the Soca Anthems for 2016 are starting to be release!
This one guarantees a warmer week-end, wherever you are.
Olatunji is one of my favorite artists from Trinidad alongside Machel Montano and Jamelody, so I always check out from time to time, what they are into. I found out this joyful tune.
Oh Yay!

I love UK.
I've just discovered SBTV on YOuTUbe. I highly recommend it.
Extremely talented artists there.
